During our visit to Japan to cover CP+ 2024, we had the opportunity to discover a Nikon factory essential to lens production: Nikon Hikari Glass. Located in Yuzawa, in the Akita prefecture (about 500 km from Tokyo), this factory is where optical glass comes to life through the melting process.
