In celebration of Father’s Day 2026, DxO is offering new customers a 20% discount on all of its software. Use the code PHOTOTRENDFD26 to get this discount on all products, whether you buy one or more software titles.
This is all the more appealing given that DxO updated two of its software products this spring: DxO PureRAW 6 in March and DxO PhotoLab 9.6 shortly thereafter.

What’s new at DxO in 2026?
Before discussing the product lineup, it’s worth taking a quick look at recent updates. Since the beginning of the year, DxO has released several updates, including new lens modules, for a total of over 110,000 camera-lens combinations. The company has also rolled out two major updates that enhance its software.
DxO PureRAW 6: DeepPrime XD3 for Everyone
Launched on March 3, DxO PureRAW 6 marks a turning point for DxO’s RAW preprocessing tool. The big news: the DeepPrime XD3 noise reduction engine, previously reserved for Fujifilm’s X-Trans sensors, is now available for all Bayer sensors (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic, etc.).
PureRAW 6 also introduces “high-fidelity” compression for DNG files, which reduces the size of the generated files by a factor of four without any noticeable loss of quality. This makes it easier to archive large volumes of images.
Other new features include AI-powered automatic sensor dust removal and batch processing to speed up exports. We’ve since put the software through its paces in our comprehensive review, where it earned a score of 8.1 out of 10.
DxO PhotoLab 9.6: New features from PureRAW 6 are coming to PhotoLab
Two weeks later, DxO PhotoLab 9.6 incorporated the key innovations from PureRAW 6: the DeepPrime XD3 engine is now available for all sensors in PhotoLab, as is high-fidelity DNG compression.
This update also introduces a feathering slider for AI masks, which allows you to apply a gradual edge to automatic selections. This results in more natural transitions between the subject and the rest of the image.
