From July 8 to 12, 2025, Fujifilm will once again take over the former ENSP d’Arles for its Fujikina Arles 2025, this time dedicated to the theme of time as revelation. Exhibitions, workshops, live shooting, conferences and demonstrations will punctuate this week of images at the heart of the Rencontres d’Arles.
Sommaire
A not-to-be-missed photo event
After its first edition in Arles, which attracted over 3,000 visitors, Fujifilm confirms its commitment to the photographic scene by renewing the Fujikina in Arles.
Organized during the opening week of the Rencontres d’Arles, the event takes place at the heart of the former École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (16 rue des Arènes). This second edition, enriched and integrated into the festival’s official program, affirms the brand’s commitment to combining technological innovation and contemporary creation.
In 2025, Fujikina will become a veritable European crossroads for photo culture, with six editions scheduled throughout the year.
A strong theme: “Time as a revealer
This year’s edition in Arles is structured around the theme of time – its trace, its narrative, its materiality – with a flagship project in partnership with Magnum Photos: “A World in Color”.

The exhibition, on view all summer at Galerie Arena, features a unique dialogue between long-invisible color archives and a contemporary series by Gregory Halpern, shot with the Fujifilm GFX100 II. The photographer’s sensitive documentary approach combines visual memory and contemporary creation. The GFX100 II has also been used toarchive some of Magnum’s color slides.

Other temporary exhibitions include works by Laura Bonnefous(Souffle Aride), Mathias Zwick(The Silent Shore), Mathias Benguigui and Jonathan Bertin at the Instax, as well as international photographers using the latest GFX100RF.
Practical workshops and photo outings
Workshops (registration required with the Premium Experience Pass) are led by renowned photographers such as Mathias Benguigui, Alice Santini and Maïra Gamarra (World Press Photo). They range from visual storytelling and lighting to dance and press photography.

Photo outings, led by Wlad Simitch, Eric Bouvet or Agathe Poupeney, invite you to experiment in the city in an educational and creative way.
Live shoots and portfolio readings
Julien Apruzzese, one of the brand’s partner photographers, leads daily “live shooting” sessions in natural light, focusing on portraiture and still life. This immersive format gives an insight into the complete photo production workflow, from framing to post-production.

Every morning, portfolio readings offer photographers personalized critical feedback from industry professionals such as Marie Viguier, Ljubiša Danilovic and Jonathan Bertin.

Conferences and round tables
With the Premium and Premium Experience Passes (see below), you have access to lectures and round-table discussions on contemporary photographic practice. For example, Raymond Depardon, who will be speaking as part of the A World in Color project, or Eric Bouvet, Magali Delporte and Mathias Zwick, who will be sharing their views on photojournalism and documentary storytelling.
